Baby's Bath Time Routine: Baby's Calming Bath Oil is wonderful for your baby's skin. Also add 3-5 drops of Baby's Calming Massage Oil to the water to leave a soft nourishing film on your baby's skin during and after bathing. This combination helps prevent the drying effect that washing can have on an infant's skin. The Lavender in these blends is very calming and can help relax little ones for the night.

Another real 'must' is massaging your baby after bathing. Your baby will show joy and go to sleep easily. This is especially helpful when digestive problems occur. During the first month, use Jurlique Jojoba or Almond Carrier Oil on its own. After this time, you may use Baby's Calming Massage Oil. Be sure to avoid baby's hands, as these always end up back on the face, either in their mouth or eyes.

This is a very special time for bonding with your baby and can be very harmonizing for the two of you. So, take the time to relax and enjoy this precious time with your baby, using slow, stoking movements. You may like to play soothing music or sing softly to your baby during massage to enhance the experience. A Jurlique Aromastone evaporator naturally scenting the room with Jurlique essential oils or oil blends (Lavender, Mandarin, Pampering Blend, etc.) creates a lovely atmosphere.

Diaper Change Routine: To gently cleanse baby's bottom, use Baby's Gentle Cleansing Balm (contains no soap or water) on a tissue or cotton wool. Once clean and dry, smooth on a film of Baby's Barrier Cream to help prevent diaper rash and soothe any existing irritation.

Diaper Rash: If a diaper rash does occur, apply Baby's Soothing Cream after cleansing to soothe and repair. Follow with Baby's Barrier Cream to protect from further irritation and moisture.

Cradle Cap: Cleanse head with Baby's Gentle Cleansing Balm, followed by a bath and shampoo using Baby's Gentle Shampoo & Body Wash. Dry scalp, then apply Baby's Soothing Cream all over the affected area of baby's scalp. The cradle cap will lift off in its own time. Be very gentle - do not use any force to remove the crust. Re-apply Baby's Soothing Cream daily until scalp is clear.

Sensitive/Irritated Skin Conditions: Apply Baby's Soothing Cream to the affected area to soothe and relieve. If this does not successfully relieve the problem, try Jurlique Viola Cream in conjunction with Baby's Soothing Cream.

Wash baby's clothes with Jurlique Gentle Fabric Wash to prevent detergent allergy.

Moisturizing Baby's Face: Baby's Soothing Cream is very soft and moisturizing and prevents dehydration. If your baby needs even more protection (especially in extremely dry and/or cold conditions), use Baby's Barrier Cream (either on its own or over Baby's Soothing Cream).

Colic Relief: Massaging baby's tummy clockwise with Baby's Colic Relief Massage Oil can help relieve painful, distressing colic. Use more oil as required and continue massaging until baby calms and relaxes. This massage oil is also good for use by stressed mothers.
